MAZDA F3A TRANSAXLE NO UPSHIFT AFTER REBUILD

COMPLAINT: After rebuild, the vehicle exhibits a no upshift condition at any vehicle speed.Find more obd code reader to know auto repair?

CAUSE: The cause may be, the governor and housing assembly installed into the case, oriented in the wrong direction, which will block governor feed oil.

CORRECTION:
The F3A transaxle must have the governor and housing assembly oriented properly when it is installed into the transaxle case, to align the feed holes in the governor housing with the feed holes in the transaxle case. Most F3A transaxles have a small triangular mark on the transaxle case next to the governor, as shown in Figure 1. The "tab" on the governor housing must be pointed toward the triangular mark on the case which will align the feed holes properly, as shown in Figure 1.

If your transaxle does not have the triangular mark on the case, simply look before you install the governor and housing assembly, and align the holes in the governor housing with the feed holes in the transaxle case  (See Figure 2).
