Toyota intends to seek Chinese manufacturers to produce hybrid vehicle batteries

According to Japan's Kyodo News reported that Toyota Motor Corporation's management said on Thursday that the company has begun to consider a local battery manufacturers, in cooperation Chinese production of hybrid car batteries.

The sources said Toyota plans to produce hybrid cars in China in 2015 or so, while the company expects to joint production of batteries with Hunan Corun New Energy Co., Ltd. in Hunan which can help Toyota cut costs.
