Tianjin FAW small SUV renderings exposure

Tianjin FAW recently launched a product called N7 cross-border vehicle, although the official position it as a small SUV,  not enough to completely transform the appearance and weak momentum, at most, only vested in the crossover of the queue. From the current planning point of view, Charade N7 can only be regarded appetizers. And following, Tianjin FAW will launch a compact SUV models with code T012. This SUV will be equipped with 1.5L engine, and is expected to be officially listed in the second half.

From the imaginary figure, this small SUV T012 follows the design concept of concept version, with an avant-garde, fashion face. Polygon using honeycomb grille design, with the bumper with silver trim, which looks fairly dynamic. Slim headlight design style evident from the concept car, but the headlights structure have been greatly different from concept cars, joined the lens and chrome trim interior elements such as headlamps, also gives people a passion vigorous sense of movement.

Launch Creader Professional 129 was born from the need for an ultra-fast code scanner that has deep sub-system coverage, along with full PID data capturing and graphing capabilities, in a price point that Launch CRP129 is a fraction of a professional scan tool.

The Creader Professional 129 is the latest in a line of award winning code scanners from LAUNCH – the Global Leader in Diagnostics. The Launch CRP 129 blurs the lines between a code scanner and a professional scan tool with features such as electronic parking brake release, steering angle reset, and service reminder reset – not to mention the ability to display and graph live PID data for A/T, SRS, and ABS, along with complete generic OBDII. The CReader Pro CRP129 also has the fastest boot up and DTC read & clear functionality on the market. As with all LAUNCH code readers, manufacturer specific code definitions are built into the tool. Also included in the tool is a troubleshooter that lists top causes for DTCs - helping you tackle the job right the first time. Other features include the ability to print via PC and free internet updates.

Launch Creader Professional 129 Functions
The CReader Pro CRP129 will read and clear DTCs for engine, A/T, SRS and ABS. Additionally, it will also display and graph live PID data for those systems, along with complete OBDII generic functionality. The ability to reset service maintenance lights – both automatically and manually – along with steering angle resets and electronic parking brake release also lend this tool to many applications for today’s technician.

Launch Creader Professional 129, features OEM enhanced functionality one might expect from a bigger scan tool. Functions include electronic parking brake release, steering angle reset and service reminder reset – not to mention the ability to display and graph live PID data for A/T, SRS and ABS, along with complete generic OBDII. CHRYSLER A500/A518 - NO SHIFT TO 4TH GEAR

COMPLAINT: Before and/or after rebuild, vehicles equipped with the A500/A518 transmission may exhibit a "No 4th" gear condition. Get obd2 scanner for more? Vehicle Speed, Engine RPM, Throttle Position, Coolant Temperature, MAP sensor and overdrive cancel information have all been verified, and are correct on the scanner.

CAUSE: The cause may be, an internally grounded Park/Neutral switch, a grounded Park/Neutral switch wire, or an internally grounded Starter Relay. These can be easily detected, because the engine will start in ranges other than Park or Neutral. The center terminal of the Park/Neutral switch provides the ground for the starter solenoid circuit through the selector lever in Park and Neutral positions only. The computer moniters this ground circuit from the starter relay.  If the Park/Neutral circuit is grounded while in the Drive position, the vehicle may exhibit a no 4th gear condition.

CORRECTION: Refer to Figure 1 for the location of the Park/Neutral switch. Disconnect the three pin harness connector from the switch, and see if the engine will start.
Note: For safety reasons, perform this test with the rear wheels off the ground.

If the engine will not start, perform the switch test as shown in Figure 1, and replace the Park/Neutral switch as necessary. If the engine does start, locate the "Starter Relay", normally found on the "Firewall" or "Fender Well", depending on the model. Check for continuity to ground on the brown with yellow tracer wire on early models, or the black with white tracer wire on late models, and repair or replace as necessary.
Note: The wire color at the center terminal of the Park/Neutral switch is normally the wire color at the Starter Relay.

If the Park/Neutral switch wire does not have continuity to ground, cut the wire at the starter relay and try again to start the engine. If the engine still starts, replace the relay.

FORD 4R44E/4R55E - INTERMITTENT OR NO TCC APPLY

COMPLAINT: Vehicles equipped with 4R44E/4R55E may exhibit a slipping and/or no converter clutch apply condition along with codes 628 or P0741 stored in the PCM.

CAUSE: The cause may be
(1)An A4LD inner pump gear used in a 4R44E/4R55E pump body as shown in Figure 1.
(2)The "O" ring inside the 4R44E/4R55E inner pump gear may be missing or damaged.

CORRECTION:
(1)Ensure that the inner pump gear is a 4R44E/4R55E gear as shown in Figure 1.
(2)During rebuild make sure the "O" ring on the inside diameter of the inner pump gear is replaced and use care not to damage the "O" ring when installing the converter.

THM 440-T4 - Upper Channel Plate Gasket Connected

There has been a new Upper Channel Plate Gasket released that connects the modulator port gasket and upper channel plate gasket together. This change was implemented to help prevent misassembly of the gaskets during the assembly process (See Figure 1).

Get some obd2 scanner from www.obddeal.com to know more.

The new upper channel plate gasket will retro fit back to 85 l/2 hydraulics only, because of the absence of one dam in the gasket. The previous design gaskets may still be used.

SPECIAL NOTE: DO NOT USE THE NEW GASKET ON 1985 HYDRAULICS.

THM 440-T4 - 2nd Clutch Lip Seal Change

CHANGE: Revised 2nd Clutch Piston Inner Lip Seal.

REASON: (1) 2nd Clutch Inner Lip Seal - The new 2nd clutch inner lip seal is made from a different material than the previous lip seal. The new seal is a "Viton" seal and can be easily identified by its part number (8668074) moulded into the lip of the seal (See Figure 2).

INTERCHANGEABILITY:
Will retro fit back to all previous models, and is highly recommended.

THM 4T65-E - SOFT 1-2 SHIFT OR DELAY TO REVERSE (MAY STORE DTC 1811)

COMPLAINT: Some General Motors vehicles equipped with the THM 4T65-E transaxle, may exhibit a soft 1-2 upshift and/or a delay when the selector lever is placed into reverse.  These conditions may also set Diagnostic Trouble Code 1811, which is "Maximum Adapt" and "Long Shift".

CAUSE: The cause may be, a defective Pressure Control Solenoid (PCS), and/or a worn line boost valve and sleeve assembly in the valve body, creating less than desired line pressure rise.Find more obd2 scanner from www.obddeal.com.

CORRECTION: Replace the Pressure Control Solenoid with the updated PCS, available from OEM under part number 10478146.  Before installing the new PCS, turn the adjusting screw on the end of the solenoid in exactly 1/8 turn, as shown in Figure 1.
Inspect and replace as necessary, the boost valve and sleeve assembly located in the valve body, in the location shown in Figure 2.  This valve train is available from Sonnax®, under part number 84754-30K, and is not yet available from OEM except in a complete valve body assembly.
